1. In Line 10 of Abstract, the figure of DT (DT = 0.89) should be changed to 0.82 (DT = 0.82). The corrected sentence is “For qSOFA, the sensitivity and specificity were DT = 0.39, LR = 0.64, NB = 0.62 and DT = 0.82, LR = 0.63, NB = 0.66, respectively.”

2. The multiplication notations (x) placed in the denominators of Equations (2), (3), (4) and (5) should be changed to addition signs (+) on the second column in Page 141. The correct equations are as follows.

 Sensitivity=TPTP+FN[2]  

 Specificity=TNTN+FP[3]  

 Positive predictive value=TPTP+FP[4]  

 Negative predictive value=TNTN+FN[5]
