==== Body
pmcJACC: Basic to Translational Science is committed to supporting and promoting early career investigators who are pursuing translational science. To achieve this, the Journal will provide biographical information and a photograph of the first or senior authors who are early career investigators in the issue where their article appears. In addition, this biographical information will be shared on our social media platforms at the time of publication.

We are proud to recognize and showcase the work of the following early career investigators, whose research is featured in this issue of the Journal.

Jacquie Baker, PhD

Paper: Reduced Stroke Volume and Brain Perfusion Drive Postural Hyperventilation in Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome

Jacquie Baker’s primary research intersects cardiovascular physiology and neuroscience. Specifically, her research focuses on chronic disorders of orthostatic intolerance—an important health problem that remains poorly understood, especially in female individuals and older adults. Within this context, her research explores the intricate connections between women's brain and heart health, physiological mechanisms underlying cardiovascular pathophysiology, and tests novel therapeutic interventions to improve health outcomes.

Shunsuke Inoue, MD, PhD

Paper: Association Between Clonal Hematopoiesis and Left Ventricular Reverse Remodeling in Nonischemic Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Shunsuke Inoue is a young cardiologist with a clinical and translational research perspective. Having completed his PhD and now working as a postdoctoral researcher, he is poised to achieve even greater accomplishments and more publications. He is particularly passionate about genetic analysis of cardiomyopathies and seeks connections with researchers around the world. His dedication to advancing the understanding and treatment of cardiomyopathy is the driving force behind his work and collaborations.

Fengyuan Yu, MD

Paper: Percutaneous Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion and Pulsed-Field-Isolation in a Canine Model: Feasibility and Safety Evaluation

Fengyuan Yu, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiology clinical fellow at Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. His expertise encompasses radiofrequency ablation of cardiac arrhythmia, pacemaker interrogation, heart failure, and cardiovascular emergency treatment. He has published 3 peer-reviewed articles on pulsed-field ablation under the supervision of Prof Min Tang and was awarded the 2nd Prize for Cardiovascular Research, Young Investigator Award, HRS Sessions, 2023, and Innovative Abstract Reward in HRS 2023. His team was awarded the 1st Prize in the Pacemaker ECG Contest hosted by the hospital (2023) and the ECG Contest of Fuwai Hospital (2022).
