pmcCorrection to: Oncogenesis 10.1038/s41389-019-0122-6, published online 19 February 2019

Following the publication of this article, an error was noted in Figure 6A. An oversight during the preparation of the panel for Figure 6A, resulted in the inadvertent swapping of the immunoblot corresponding to GAPDH for PC-3 and DU145. The corrected figure is provided below.

For transparency purposes, kindly be informed that the immunoblot images from DU145 cells exhibited in figures 1B and 6A are the same. The experimental conditions used to generate them are the same, consisting of prostate cancer cells (DU145 and PC-3) treated either with DMSO (0.5%) or DHA 5μM for 24h, and proteins extracted using lysis buffer, and the same amount of proteins were loaded in each lane, which therefore justify the use of the same blot.

The authors confirm that this change does not compromise the accuracy of the data presented nor impact the validity of the findings on the effects of DHA on prostate cancer cells.
