==== Body
pmcDear Editor,

We would like to comment on the study titled “Psychological impact of COVID-19 lockdown period on students of healthcare colleges: Comment.”[1] The purpose of the study was to evaluate how the post-coronavirus disease 2019 (post-COVID-19) lockdown period affected the psychological well-being of King Saud University’s health college students in Saudi Arabia.

The study relies too much on a cross-sectional design, making it hard to follow psychological impact over time. The convenience sampling employed to recruit study participants may cause selection bias. This means that the study’s conclusions may not apply to a larger student population because King Saud University’s healthcare students may not be representative. This bias may compromise the study’s reliability.

Future studies might benefit from including a more representative and diverse group of Saudi Arabian healthcare students in the study sample, in addition to King Saud University students. This larger focus would improve the findings’ generalizability and offer a more thorough grasp of the psychological effects of the COVID-19 lockdown period on healthcare students at various universities.
